TELLING OUR STORY

Dear Parents,

I realize that choosing a school for your child is a difficult decision. Most of our Diocesan schools provide a good education, an environment where the Faith is integrated throughout the day, and a faculty that is committed to Catholic education. Several of the public schools in Fairfax County provide an adequate education and they do not charge tuition. If you are interested in a Catholic education, I would like to help you answer the question, “Why send my children to Queen of Apostles Catholic School?”

As a parent with four children, all of whom attended Catholic schools, I understand what makes a particular school special. At Queen of Apostles Catholic School I see a school that provides a safe, nurturing environment, a solid formation in the Faith, and academics that challenge and promote excitement about life-long learning. There is so much more to the mission and vision of Queen of Apostles, making us special and unique.

The diverse population represents many cultures, adding richness to our community. Our students learn to appreciate all people as children of God. The climate of the school is such that our children are protected from negative societal influences that pervade our culture. The Model is always that Jesus is the Master Teacher, the saints are examples of living holy lives, and the virtues of our Faith are the basis for the discipline policy.

I hope that the following information answers your questions and, if you discern that Queen of Apostles Catholic School is the school in which you would like to enroll your child, please give us a call to make an appointment. If there are any questions, I am always available.

God bless,
Joanne Yates,
Principal
Queen of Apostles Catholic School
