www.ikeepsafe.org - Website providing internet safety information for children of elementary school age. Features an educational outreach program called FauxPaw the Techno Cat which targets elementary school children. This is the organization that presented our school's internet safety classes for our students, staff and parents.

www.netsmartz.org - This site was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) offering educational tools for parents, teachers, and law enforcement personnel.

www.Childsafenet.org - This is the website of ChildSafeNet, the non-profit organization which works with local law enforcement to make communities safer for our children. Their first law enforcment partner, the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department, is developing and implementing ChildSafeNet's signature program, P'CASO (Protecting Children Against Sex Offenders) which is being used in Northern Virginia.

www.wiredsafety.com; www.wiredkids.org - Sites created by Parry Aftab which contain articles about cyberbullying, IM'ing and BLOGs updated with current discussions about the latest internet trends and threats. Resources for parents of children being stalked, bullied, harassed, or otherwise intruded upon by on-line sources.

www.software4parents.com - Website offering programs to monitor, block, filter and track your child's internet use on your computer.

www.transl8it.com - This website contains regular english "translations" for commonly used internet "jargon", shortcuts and emoticons such as ; ) , brb, etc.

www.cybertipline.com - Online site from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children where one may report and receive more information about eh sexual exploitation of children on the internet.
